DEATH BECOMES US

If there is one thing that is hard for a family to confront with, it is death. Easy for us to say, “we’ll pray for you and your family”, but for the family who experienced the sudden departure of a love one it is always difficult to accept it.

However, life must go on. And it is always uplifting to realize how your friends care about you and your family.

This week we pray for the family of Joel Jallores. Their father passed away almost two weeks ago. And Joel, in his short message said, “thank you for the prayers. Maasahan talaga kayong lahat.”

This week is kind of critical to our family too. Our paternal grandfather is very ill and based on the last text my mother sent me, he is does not want to eat anymore. All he need is water.

Eversince Lola passed away almost ten years ago, Lolo’s health and well being started to deteriorate. We are praying now what is best for him.

But in every death, there is a story, if not stories, of life. We are abundant because of those who died for us. Death becomes us.
